In the days preceding the issue of Order 66, Separatist forces make a daring assault on the Republic’s capital Coruscant. As Separatist landing craft descend over the capital and ARC fighters launch in defense Republic intelligence picks up a homing beacon transmitting on a separatist frequency. Jedi Master Plo Koon and a squad of Clone Troopers and Republic Commandos are dispatched to rendezvous on their target. The signal is tracked to a disused transit station at the rear of an underworld watering hole, a hive of scum and villainy known as ‘The Cantina of LU-RV’.

Over the small remote world of Tatooine, a battle rages. The besieged Tantive IV has been pursued, attacked and captured by one of the Empire’s most terrifying weapons, an Imperial Star Destroyer. The plans for an even more terrifying weapon were stolen by those aboard the Tantive IV, and the Empire wants them back. Two Escape pods survived the fight. One held 2 droids and the secret plans; in the other were 2 rebel troopers cut off from their squad. Upon their landing on Tatooine, they were rescued by a group of jawas who took an interest in their escape pod.
